April Fool is reality: New Monkey Island comes and my wish gets true

Dennis Michel: I had very easily believed to release Thimbleweed Park a few years ago that I return to the Caribbean with Guybrush, I had completely buried the hopes completely. Ron Gilbert had retreated, the rights on the series Frieden at Disney a sad existence, Tim Scherer produced at Double Fine Great Games like Psychonauts 2 and In general, Point & Click Adventures for publishers and developers (with exceptions) on the priority list has been no longer Far up.

That my favorite video game hero returns now is just fantastic. That Gilbert and Grossmann with the old composer are on board and is directly linked to Part 2, the whole thing still sets up the crown. Although I had my big fun with the last two last parts (yes, also part 4!), But the question was always in the room, as the old Team Lechuck's Revenge continued. In the Pixellook as Gilbert once did not want the first trailer. But that is also perfectly fine, on the pirate mood and the funny sayings and the puzzles are important.

And honestly that year 2022 also needs the humor of Monkey Island, needs an involuntarily comic hero like Guybrush, the Spitz-Ironian sayings of Elaine and the comments of a speaking skull.
